CMHC Finance

Up to 95% loan to value with maximum 50 years amortization with lower than marketinterest rate for newly built qualified rentals.

Multiplex & Garden suite on a single home lot

On May 10, 2023 City of Toronto permitted that one can covert a single home lot into a
fourplex plus a garden suite, which in total 5 rental units with no site plan approval
requirement. The city is planning to allow even more units from a single lot sometime
2024.

Removal of HST on New Built Rental

By November 2023, Both federal and province removed the full hst on newly built rentals
commencing from Sep 14, 2023.
